Mia was used to being bullied at school.

Her clothes were old.
Her shoes were worn out.
And every day, students found new reasons to laugh at her.

The photo showed a man in military uniform sitting in a wheelchair beside a young Mia.

“Wait… is that your dad?” one bully laughed.

Another whispered cruelly:

“Your dad’s a cripple?”

Mia’s eyes instantly filled with tears.

She rushed forward trying to grab the photo back.

Then suddenly—

a deep voice echoed through the hallway.

“Excuse me?”

Everyone turned.

Standing near the entrance beside the principal was a tall man in military uniform.

The hallway froze.

Mia stared in shock.

“Dad?”

Nobody understood.

The man slowly walked toward the students holding the photo.

Then he looked directly at the bullies.

“That wheelchair saved my life after I lost my leg protecting soldiers during combat,” he said calmly.

The entire hallway went silent.

The students slowly lowered their phones in embarrassment.

Then Mia’s father placed a hand on her shoulder proudly.

“And this young lady,” he said softly, “has taken care of me every single day since.”
