The restaurant was filled with laughter as family and friends gathered around Ethan’s birthday cake.

Everyone was smiling.

Everyone except Ethan.

As the candles flickered, he looked out the window and noticed a small boy sitting alone in the rain across the street.

The child looked cold, hungry, and completely forgotten.

People walked past him without stopping.

Without thinking, Ethan slipped away from the table, grabbed a slice of birthday cake, and ran outside.

“Ethan!” his mother shouted as she chased after him.

Guests rushed to the windows.

By the time she reached the sidewalk, Ethan was kneeling beside the homeless boy, offering him the cake.

The child slowly looked up.

And Ethan’s mother froze.

The two boys looked almost identical.

Same eyes.

Same smile.

Same face.

“Mom…” Ethan whispered.

“Why does he look like me?”

Before she could answer, the homeless boy pulled a worn photograph from his pocket.

The moment she saw it, her heart stopped.

Years earlier, she had given birth to twin boys.

But during a devastating evacuation after a natural disaster, one of the babies disappeared.

Despite years of searching, he was never found.

The homeless child looked at her with tears in his eyes.

“Are you my mom?” he asked softly.

Unable to speak, she fell to her knees and wrapped both boys in her arms.

What started as a birthday celebration became the family reunion she had spent years praying for. โค๏ธ
