Every day after school, eight-year-old Noah stopped at the same toy store.

He never bought anything.

He never asked for money.

Instead, he walked straight to a shelf, picked up the same teddy bear, hugged it tightly, and placed it back.

The store owner noticed this routine for weeks.

One afternoon, he finally asked why.

Noah looked down and quietly replied, “My little sister loved this bear.”

The owner smiled sadly.

“Where is she now?”

Tears filled the boy’s eyes.

“In heaven.”

Noah explained that his sister had passed away the year before after a long illness. Every time they visited the store together, she would run to that teddy bear and hug it.

The owner was heartbroken.

The next day, he wrapped the teddy bear in a gift box and waited for Noah.

When the boy arrived, the owner handed it to him.

“I can’t pay for this,” Noah whispered.

The owner smiled.

“You don’t have to.”

Noah hugged the bear tightly, feeling closer to his sister than he had in a very long time.
