Arizona Territory, 1880.
The dusty frontier town was packed with cowboys, soldiers, families, and merchants waiting for the arrival of a mysterious king.
His black carriage finally appeared at the end of the street, surrounded by armed guards.
Then the first gunshot rang out.
Four masked riders stormed into town, firing toward the royal guards. Horses panicked as people scattered into saloons and wooden buildings. Cowboys drew their revolvers, joining the desperate fight.
But the King wasn’t watching the gunmen.
He was staring at a young woman standing alone outside the saloon.
She wore a dark hood and watched the chaos without moving.
The King stepped from his carriage.
His guards immediately surrounded him.
Then he whispered two words that made everyone nearby freeze.
“My daughter.”
Seven years earlier, the King’s daughter had disappeared without a trace. Search parties had crossed hundreds of miles looking for her, but no one had ever found her.
Until now.
The young woman slowly removed her hood.
The King took one step toward her.
Before he could say another word, a rifleman appeared on a nearby rooftop.
A shot echoed across the town.
The King collapsed.
The woman screamed and ran toward him.
But the gunman had already disappeared.
And the truth about the missing princess was only beginning to surface.
